I designed a lightweight A frame mounting for the club's 12 inch in 1984. Also see my 24 inch scope from 1980.

My design was inspired by a 15 inch Canadian telescope featured in Sky and Telescope magazine, also a 12 inch English and a 12 inch American scope. This style of design goes back decades.
